My Current EDC for 2023

Image
I uploaded a new video this week which kind of introduces a new pivot in my channel. I've been toying with the idea of doing EDC (Every Day Carry) review videos for a while and so I did a poll on the community page and they voted yes! As usual the first videos are always the worst videos but it's the starting that matters. Next time I upload an EDC video it will be better until I find my groove. It took a couple of years of uploading Paracord videos before I got into my groove (last year) and my channel has improved no end.  So I think the main thing is that if you have an idea, go for it and improve and grow it and see what happens!

How To Get Video Ideas From Comments.

One of the best ways of coming up with video ideas is to look in the comments. Questions.  In the last two weeks people have asked questions which has given me enough ideas to make 3 more videos just answering those questions.  Vidiq. Another very useful tool is the comment filter on Vidiq. You can go to any video, look in the comments section, and filter through comments that have questions and replies. If a questions doesn't have a reply I can see if it's possible to make a video answering that particular question.  Answer with a Short. Youtube now has a feature where you can answer a question in the comments with a short! On your phone find a comment with a question and on the right hand side you should see the shorts symbol. Click on that, answer the question, upload the video, and you're done! So there you go that's just a couple of ways I use comments to get video ideas. Hope that helps!

Get Knotted Paracord Blog?

I first got interested in Paracord around 2010 when I discovered Paracord Bracelet Kits on Ebay. I bought a kit, made the bracelet, and like most people who discover Paracord I thought I could sell bracelets. It wasn't long before I was looking on Youtube for Paracord Bracelet tutorials.  What i found was a small selection of channels, some really good, and some hard to follow because the creators hands were always in the way and it was hard to see what was going on.  I thought I saw a gap in the market as there were no English creators and I thought I could do a much better job of explaining what was going on. And I also have what the other creators weren't showing, a sense of humour! In 2016 I started my Youtube channel Get Knotted Paracord    So far I've uploaded over 100 videos and upped my editing skills in 2022. This has helped me get over 7000 subscribers and I get around 10 subs a day so far! Join me as I share my journey with you on this blog. I will be posting my
